These are some notes we took on our visits to Sweden. We did a good job of documenting our second trip, but we were too busy on the other trips, especially the ones with Zoe, so there is a lot less to read about them. When we get the time we will add more details of the things we remember about our past trips.

Trip 6: One Full Year

This is our 'One Year in Sweden' Journal. We have the opportunity to stay in Sweden for one entire year. We will update the journal as our adventure unfolds.

Trip 5: Number Five


June 27th ~ Aug 10th 2006
Our fifth (Zoe's 3rd) trip to Sweden. Jessica and Zoe arrived on June 27th. I was looking for a job, so I came a month later on July 27th. With temps in the upper 70's, it was nice to get out of the 100+ temps that San Jose was having when I left.

Our fourth trip started on Zoe's first birthday, February 19th. What a day...

Trip 3: Zoe Goes to Sweden


June 19th ~ July 13th 2004
This was our third trip to Sweden and the first time for Zoe. It was her 4 month birthday the day we left San Jose. We were there for mid summer, the longest day of the year.

Trip 2: Swedish Spring


March 12th ~ 30th 2003
Our second trip to Northern Sweden. It was the Spring of 2003. There was plenty of snow on the ground and the river was still frozen, so we could walk or drive across the ice to Finland.

Trip 1: Bill's First Time


July 17th ~ 30th 2002
This was Bill's first trip to Sweden. It was the summer of 2002, and this far North in summer time the sun does not set, so there was plenty of time to travel, visit, and explore.
